It will be the anniversary of ‘June 4th1989 Event’ several days later. Twenty-two years ago, it was in 1989 that thousands of students and citizens walked in the street, raised the streamer and called the slogan to express their desire of democracy and freedom. They demanded the government to punish corruption and appealed authority to promote democratic political reform.

It was early in the morning on June 4, 1989 that CCP transferred troops, dispatched tanks and guns to suppress this democratic movement with the means of force. A big group of students and citizens were killed by the guns. Twenty-two years had gone passed, and I wanted to take this opportunity to express my condolence to the casualties in that event. Lamenting the casualties contributing their lives for their hopes, they were the heroes of Chinese nation. They were the hopes of our nation when alive; they were soul of nation when dead.

The people, who have conscience, sense of justice and dare to speak real words, were almost persecuted by the authority. Because the social morality in China went worse and worse, with officials’ corruption and China was in the ruling of CCP, without democracy, freedom of news, freedom of speech and supervision mechanism. Therefore, I appeal to finish the one-party autocracy in China to build a democratic and free society with human rights and laws.
