Zhang, Jun: Chinese government can’t stop the steps of democracy

Autocratic system and democratic system are two opposite social systems and ideologies under these two systems are mutually exclusive. In the present Chinese society, the system carried by CCP authority is autocratic system, CCP doesn’t allow the real democracy existing in China. Due to the problem of autocratic ideology, the basic idea of democracy and freedom is not allowed to exist.
The government of democratic countries emerges by the democratic election of people and the officials’ appointment is up to the amount of people’s votes. There are also elections in China, such as election of deputy to the NPC and political advisors. However, people always don’t have the right to recommend the deputy they want to elect and these deputies are assigned by the organizations of CCP. Ordinary people can vote for these assigned deputies or not, because the election is just a show for others, but they are also called the deputies elected by democracy finally.
The CCP authority is still adhering to the autocratic system, but Chinese people look forward to democratic freedom with the constant appearance of contradiction between officials and ordinary people. Democratic freedom is the trend of development of the world; the system of democratic freedom in China fits people’s willingness, so Chinese government can’t stop the steps of democracy.
