After the economical reform carried out by Chinese authority, in many areas of China, especially coastal areas, economic has developed and industrial production force has improved; kinds of economic output and benefit have also improved, but the problem of environmental pollution is very outstanding. In the area of industrially advanced, the content of dust and toxic substance is far beyond the standard, no matter what season, the air visibility is very low; the water source of living and drinking is polluted in some areas; the vegetables, fruits and food produced in some areas can’t pass the security check.
The aim of reform and open is to develop economics and to realize the goal of economical development, but government usually victimizes environment to accomplish the economic output. Chinese authority doesn’t take environment into account, letting alone protecting environment. In spite of that government and officials have realized the importance of environmental pollution, there is lack of due policy and laws clause in term of protecting environment.
With the actual development of economics, government should take environmental protection to an important position and propaganda the significance of environmental protection to improve the people’s consciousness of environmental protection. The most efficient way is preventing at first and then governing for environmental pollution, and keeping developing economics and protecting environment synchronously; rather than manage it after environment is polluted seriously.
