In the recent decades of years, it is often seen that the black smoke come out of factories and mines, that polluted water flows in the river near the factories and foul smell spreads in the air. Even seriously, the water in some areas can’t be drunk and the vegetables and fruits produced in the farm contain over pesticide allowance with fresh imaginations and lots of food containing toxic chemical substances is sold in the grocery stores.
All the problems are derived from that Chinese government don’t value environmental protection for a long time; since the reform and open, Chinese government weaken the work of protecting environment in order to obtain economical benefit. With the development of economics and reduce of poor people, environment is sacrificed in this area and environmental pollution has become a serious problem at present in China.
In order to improve the work of protecting environment, apart from legislation and increasing the input of money, government should endow department of protecting environment with the rights of supervision and enforcement and increase the potency dimension of advertising environmental protection; lead by government, all the people can participate to promote environmental protection walk towards the positive direction together.
