Wei, Wei: Chinese educational corruption makes people grievous

The matter of corruption in China is becoming serious increasingly, and the present department of education is also not the pure land because Chinese educational corruption makes people grievous and shocked. Many years ago, Chinese government put forward “Education prospers country”; there was a time that both government and ordinary people paid attention to education and the climax of learning civilization, science and technology appeared all over the country; education played an important role in Chinese economical reform and development.
However, after the short thirty years of Chinese economical reform and development department of education began to corrupt with the unstoppable momentum. Because Chinese educational system lacks the due justice and fairness and corresponding power supervision mechanism; education is commercialized falsely by government; educational institution is run as enterprise, with the commercialization of degree and marketization of compulsory education. The managing departments of education in some areas enlarge financial resources unscrupulously; principal becomes chairman of board and vice principals become general manager; teachers become salesman, charging to students at random even compulsively and stretch their hands to students’ families to achieve money.
The direction of education is up to political system in the country; if only reform Chinese political system and carry out democracy and freedom, we can hit the actions of falsification, deceiving both upper and lower and corruption in department of education, restrain matter of educational corruption effectively and make the goal of “Education prospers country” come true.
