Qiang, Junmin: Chinese government must stop forced removal
强俊民(Qiang, Junmin)
In order to expand city’s area, Chinese government carries out the plan of urban renewal, sets up honor stuff project and remove people’s houses compulsively, so the phenomenon of forced removal happens frequently in some areas of China. Nowadays the phenomenon of forced removal is becoming more and more serious and it has become violent actions endangering people directly. Even if the government’s condition of removal is unfair and rigorous, people have to obey government’s removal orders. Some people are compelled to appeal for help to higher authority, because their houses are removed compulsively and they don’t receive reasonable compensation; sanguinary conflicts even happen in some removal events and some people get injured, lose their houses and become homeless because of removal, and finally they have to suicide.
Chinese removal brings turmoil to the society and makes people feel instable. Forced removal is the action that a cultural and legislated society can’t stand, so forced removal must be prohibited in China and government must perfect judicial system gradually to improve removal policies and give up unreasonable demolition clause to make all the removal actions limited and supervised by laws. CCP’s government must give up forced removal with the usage of violence to guarantee Chinese people’s basic human rights in fact.
