Bao, Shuqun: Only democratic system can restrain officials’ corruption in China

The officials of Chinese government are corrupting more and more seriously with various corrupt phenomenons. They pursue benefits for their families and trample on Chinese people’s benefits. Although people are quite unsatisfied and annoyed of corrupt officials, once there is someone criticizing CCP government and their families and they may suffer hit and persecution from CCP government with all its holding national violence tools. Therefore, in present China benefits of CCP and people are entirely different and Chinese government is not on behalf of Chinese people’s benefits.
In term of it, someone wishes CCP government can do autocriticism and self-discipline, but I think only realization of democratic system can restrain officials’ corruption in China. Democracy is that people have sovereignty and a restricting and balanced system. If only carry out democratic system in China, Chinese people will exercise the responsibility of supervising government and restrain corruption effectively.
“Finishing one-party autocracy and establishing democratic China” is not only the struggling goal for CDP members, also Chinese people’s requests and calls.
