Li, Zhi: Quality of Chinese people can be improved based on democratic system

In China, I can see frequently that someone spit everywhere, throw cigarette butts and garbage everywhere, not queue up for the bus and speak loudly where should be quiet and so on. However, these can’t be seen in democratic countries and why people in democratic countries have high quality generally?
My personal opinion is people have sense of responsibility in democratic countries. Because president is elected by people and he can stand for people’s benefit in fact. So everyone has sense of responsibility of the country and the definition of the country in their hearts. But China is a country with one-party autocracy and the leaders are elected by CCP not by people, so in Chinese people’s hearts, China doesn’t belong to them but others. Therefore, Chinese people can’t treat the country by the same means as treating their families. Besides, CCP carries out long-term education of obedient citizens, and it only cares for people’s submitting to CCP but neglect quality education totally. If things go on like this, quality of Chinese people will become lower and lower.
In my opinion, if finish CCP’s autocracy earlier and carry out democratic system to allow people to elect dream leaders freely, China will be country and family in the true sense in Chinese people’s hearts. The holistic quality of Chinese people can be improved dramatically!
