Tian, Yongzhe: Request Chinese government to improve minorities’ human rights

Chinese government makes use of the opportunity of resolving national conflict to establish government’s prestige, which is Chinese government’s customary practice, in these years due to state’s indulge, events of ethnic conflicts appear frequently in some areas, and minorities’ human rights are violated in the process of government’s quelling events. I am Korean people in China and the Korean nationality belongs to “minority” divided by Chinese government.
Although Chinese government has been declaring for a long time to take care of minorities in term of policies, getting minorities have jobs at first and universities’ enrolling minorities at first and so on. However, the fact is opposite, and Korean people are always discriminated by the Hans and persecuted by officials. The rate of unemployment is the highest and lots of Korean people don’t have jobs and live in poverty living Koreans area, besides, the rate of Korean student is also the highest and government doesn’t guarantee basic human rights of Korean people.
Korean people at abroad appeal Chinese government not to discriminate Koreans, on the contrary, government should respect living habits of Korean civilization, develop the economics in Korean area and make them have the actual freedom of work, live, education and speeches.
