General election of NPC in various counties and towns in districts in Beijing was held on Nov 8 of this year, and nine million voters elected 4349 NPC of districts and towns and almost ten thousand representatives of villages. Chinese Constitution guarantees the right of people’s participating in the election and people have rights of introducing themselves in public. Deputies of NPC are recommended by authorities at all levels of CCP government, but about twenty independent candidates appeared before the election, including scholar Xiong, Wei, associate professor of Beijing Foreign Language Institute Qiao, Mu, attorney Xu, Zhiyong and representative of petitions Ye, Jingchun and so on. However, there was an organization called “representatives of voter group” in basic level of CCP, holding the decision power and rejecting all the independent candidates out of the list of “formal candidates” in secret. And it caused all the independent candidates can’t be elected in the end and advocated good sequence of election in public to express voter’s willing adequately.

By this insignificant local election, we can see the democracy furnished by CCP for a long period sufficiently, but I believe that general people can’t be cheated by CCP any longer. Only CDP members can master democratic ideas and advocate democracy to families, friends and friends on the Internet, and democratic system and elected government can be realized in China someday.
