Xie, Jianchuan: Chinese government must return right of speech freedom to people

Freedom of speeches is human beings’ basic right and each person living in modern civilized society have the right of freedom of speeches. However, Chinese government limits people’s speeches and in order to maintain autocracy, government controls people’s speeches strictly; it doesn’t allow people to spread ideas on democracy, freedom and human rights and not allow people to criticize corrupt officials.
Not only this, Chinese government controls press and Internet, so all the open news must pass the check of government. The news that Chinese ordinary people get from magazines, television and Internet is lack of reality, so they can’t comprehend Chinese society and the world objectively and really.
Chinese government deprives of people’s right of speeches and the right of people’s expressing ideas and speeches. The action of Chinese government’s limiting freedom of speeches is against natural law of people’s development, therefore, it should return right of freedom of speeches to people.
