Fang, Deqing: Only Government under Democratic System Can Improve Human Rights

The reason why Chinese Human Right condition has nor enhanced for a long time and frequently criticized by international community is the existence of dictatorship in China, under which government officials bully and suppress people, hence contributing to the lack of basic human rights of them.
Since the human right situation in China has not rised up to the desirable degree, China is urged by United Nations Human Right Conference and international society to make effective efforts to improve it. At present, Chinese government should take the following measures to mend its human right. Firstly, the freedom of speech should be expanded, which means the media should be given more accesses and authorizations. Secondly, the persecution should be stopped immediately in order to bond the officials and commons. Thirdly, more dialogues and communications should be conducted actively between the government and the people, which can make some visible progresses in this regard.
In the meantime, all peace-loving people in the world call for political reform and gradual implementation of democratic freedom in China. They wish China can take the road toward democracy and freedom because it is proven by many facts that human right condition can only be improved in democratic system.
