Wang,Guohua: The Key to Crackdown on Corruption is the Supervision of Power
王国华(Wang,Guohua)
Chinese government has failed to satisfy Chinese people amid its long-time efforts to crackdown on corruption. It is often reported by media that some corruptive officials boasted of how himself adhere to being honest in conventions right before they were investigated and arrested. This phenomenon can be correspond to what people used to say “those corruptive officials are exactly ones who investigate the case, hence one can never find the suspect.”
Corruptive CCP officials often abuse their powers, trading public power for their personal interests. In today’s Chinese society, corruption is not rare but frequent. It is the hidden rule among officials to trade power for benefit, some of which even do such thing in public. Although those are personal behavior, they are associated with the overall image with CCP. In order to make its rule stable, CCP has to tolerate even some serious corruptions.
It is imperative to take public and transparent measures to crackdown on corruption. Regardless of their ranks, any officials involved in corruption has to be taken to court according to law. In the meantime, a high-efficient anti-corruption system has to be established so that media can report objectively, openly and justly and people can participate in supervising anti-corruption enforcement directly.
