Zheng, Qin: Democratic System Can Give Chinese people Human Rights

Chinese government has advocated for harmonious society for a long time, however, what they did are actually totally against this goal. Chinese government claim that they are the government of the people and for the people. Nevertheless, Chinese people don’t enjoy basic human rights, among which many even can’t feed themselves. Hence, Chinese people have come to realize that today’s Chinese government is a dictated authoritarian government aiming at suppressing vast majority. In such dictatorship, there exists no democracy, freedom , human rights and rule of law, which originate the lack of human right in China.
Under democratic and free system, power can be shared, right and wrong can be settled, and different opinions can be tolerated. At present, the fundamental problem in Chinese society rests not in the people but the social system.
It is Chinese people’s common wish that government can forfeit the current political system, the dictatorship of CCP can be abolished, multiparty democratic constitution system and the separate of three powers of judicial, legislature and executive can be realized. Only under a democratic China can people enjoy human rights and have the resources to build a harmonious society in China.
