Li, Chun: Chinese Government Have to Topple Autocratic Government
Mubarak has been president for 30 years in Egypt. Now he even dream that his son can succeed him as the new president in Egypt. Such a dictator has lose its fair and just ground. On January 25, 2011, a massive anti-government protest erupted in Egypt. With the escalation of protest, over ten thousand people shouted out their call for Mubarak to resign. On February 11, 2011, Mubarak officially declared his resign. Those brave protesters were overwhelmed with joy, amid the whole world shouting “Egypt is free at last!”Finally, Egyptian overthrew the autocratic government, toward which Chinese people feel utter proud and admirable from the bottom of their hearts.
In a dictated country, people’s interest can not be violated all the time. In China’s autocratic society, government officials corrupt and suppress common people with the power authorized to them by people. They possess the majority of property in the country, leaving an unhappy life to people with their basic human rights stripped. Such autocratic society are unwelcomed by people.
Therefore, the success of Egyptian can inform and inspire Chinese people that they should fight with their own autocratic government, overthrowing it and building a fresh democratic government so that all people can lead a prosperous life.
