Freedom of religion is an important part of human rights. Everyone has the right to choose religion. Just like each person has the freedom to speech and rally. All these rights constitute the important base for human being’s civilization, so that people can live in dignity and conscience. All these form a autonomous civil society and healthy political system.
For a long time, Chinese government violate the freedom of religion and limit people to choose their own belief. Chinese government is trampling on modern civilization, human being’s dignity and pushing Chinese society to moral disorder. Chinese officials value the accomplishments of economic development, but lack correct understanding of the evolvement of people’s faiths. Religion renaissance is an unavoidable trend in China, which Chinese government has to face and follow.
Regarding the emerging freedom of religion and faith in China, Chinese government should welcome it and learn from sincere religionists for their pursuit of loft and serious moral life and purifying spirits so as to promote the development of religion in China.
