Wang, Zhenghua: Chinese government infringes on human rights
Wang, Zhenghua
Chinese society often occurs government officials stepping onto human rights. There is no relevant laws preventing their behaviors, so that they can do whatever they can. For example, some forcibly abolish private residences, exempt people’s lands and even attach people with force. These run against the advocacy of building harmonious society by Chinese government.
Chinese government and officials infringed upon human rights, so Chinese government is not reasonable. In today’s world, United States refer to those countries with frequency of human rights infringement as country with bad human rights record. Based on the situation in China, China is among that list.
Everyone living in China is entitled with many rights stated in constitution, among which the most basic one is human rights. If that being deprived of, people have no protection and hence no dignity. Many Chinese people don’t know about their basic rights or how to strive for them, that’s why they are often recklessly encroached by government.
