Three years ago, civil media in China have reported the accidents of “Sanlu milk powder”; because of the melamine contained in the Sanlu milk powder, thousands of babies who have drunk that milk powder has developed urinary stones.The accidents of poisonous milk powder have severe consequences, whereas it is only one example of all the food safety accidents.The victims’ families of the Sanlu poisonous milk powder still do not have satisfactory answers, nor do they get compensated fairly.Several years passed, the problem of food safety in China still remains.We are fully aware what food safety means to ordinary people.The Chinese government cannot justify their own assertion no matter what excuses they use, or to pacify the Chinese people’s anger about the food safety problem.There is a deep-lying reason underneath every food safety problems; the poisonous milk powder accident happened not as a single incident; the true reason why food safety accidents are happening is the imperfect system in China. A reasonable social system is a decisive reason that is closely related to the Chinese people’s lives.
