Wei, Chunfa: the CCP has to assume the responsibility of cruelly cracking down the democratic activity happening on June 4, 1989
魏春法(Wei,Chunfa)
After one week from today, it will be the 22nd anniversary of the Tian’anmen Square Massacre. It has been 22 years since the democratic activity happened on June 4, 1989; whereas ordinary people with conscience will not forget this event, nor will we oversea Chinese people forget that. The Chinese Communist authorities, on the other hand, dare not to forget it.
Many people, who did not forget the Tian’anmen Square Massacre, always hold memorial ceremonies on June 4 for the persons who lost their lives in the peaceful demonstration of June 4, 1989; meanwhile for the people who dare not to forget this event, they always try hard to make people forget this period of history. All the media in China suddenly kept silent, because they are forbidden from reporting commemorating events; moreover, the Internet information are being filtered, anything related with sensitive topics has been blocked, also any talks about the Tian’anmen Square Massacre has been blocked.
Just before the commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of the democratic activity happening on June 4, 1989, media revealed that the Chinese Communist government has blocked the web forums, which indicates the guiltiness of these dictators. We hope the Chinese government could show their respect for the history, and assume their responsibility of cracking down the democratic activity of June 4, 1989, by firing directly at the demonstrating people. We also call on the Chinese government to open up the Internet and traditional news media, so that the Chinese people can have freedom of speech, and the truth of the Tian’anmen Square Massacre can be finally known by the Chinese people; the ideology of freedom and democracy will spread across China, and eventually a multi-party democratic political system can be established.
