Liu, Shu: Appeal to Chinese Government for Abandoning Internet Censorship

During recent years, the means to censor Internet and punish are emerged endlessly in China. The Chinese government set up an umbrella organization for network monitoring. The organization with professional skills, deletes, bans, obstructs, and blocks so-called “harmful information” that considered by the government, through domain name, keyword filtering, IP blockade, etc. Those “harmful information” is all about democracy, freedom, human rights, and the rule of law. All content is calling for the implement of a democratic system of multi-parties taking turns on government, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, etc.
Nowadays, the Internet extends all over China, and plays a major role in impelling the establishment of democracy, freedom, human rights, and the rule of law in China; boosting Chinese economy; strengthening the link between China and the outer world. I am a member of China Democracy Party, and strongly protest against the Chinese government for Internet blockade, and demand the Chinese government to open the Internet.
The facts show that the Chinese government's blockade on the press and speech, and its control over the Internet, has got itself in a mess. A democratic China with a factual and realistic style, open Internet, freedom of speech is coming soon.
