Meng, Qingwei: the Fight Against Corruption Must Depends on a Favorable Social System
孟庆伟(Meng,Qingwei)
Corruption is an inevitable outcome of an autocratic society. Today's Chinese society is a despotic society, the government officials are not subject to laws, the power in their hands is a tool of demanding money. A mess of corruption leads to social disorder, the Chinese people are treated unfairly and unjustly. As a result of corruption, the government is losing the popular support by degrees, and the society is facing plenty of instable factors. The Chinese government is fearful that corruption will jeopardize its despotic regime. That is the major impetus for the China communist government to start campaigns against corruption.
The China communist government's fight against corruption is merely for its regime stability, and in response to the public's scream for anti-corruption. Let us take a look at the inside of the China communist government, from the higher authorities to the subordinates, is there an official who does not play politics or seek personal gain by abusing his power? Does the China communist government dare to fight against corruption? If so, then will China Communist Party not be subverted?
Thus it can be seen that the Chinese government is unwilling to authentically combat corruption. Both unbending determination and practical actions are in demand to restrain corruption. Since the corruption tricks is constantly updating, the anti-corruption campaign in China must start from changing the dictatorial system, instead of relying on the conventional anti-corruption measures.
