Qi, Yunxia: Hope the Chinese Government Reinforces the Work Regarding Environmental Protection

The earth is a big family that is owned by all animals, plants, and our human begins. Along with the development of global economy and the growing industrial pollution, the earth is no longer a clean, beauteous one. In many areas of China, there is rubbish, liquid waste, and polluted air everywhere. It was once an attractive green homeland, while it is now damaged heavily. Files indicate that the most polluted country is China, the Chinese government must have a full review of deteriorating environment.
During these decades, for the purpose of quickening the development speed of economy, industry, and agriculture, the Chinese government neglects the work regarding environmental preservation. The forests in Chinese areas are cut at random, which leads to the destruction of forests and green fields. In addition, China is also facing the following problems: the destroyed ecological balance, the grave soil-erosion problem, the reducing area of green plants, and the broadening area of loess and desert. However, quite a few officials of the Chinese government have not being aware of a crisis constituted by the severely damaging environment.
Since environmental protection is the corporate responsibility assumed by every country, we hope the Chinese government to reduce the environmental pollution. The Chinese government must strengthen legislation and law enforcement for protecting environment, and get the obligation of environmental preservation implemented among local governments at all levels and the relevant officials, raise the Chinese people’s awareness of environmental protection, make environmental preservation become an essential component of each Chinese people’s life.
