Qu,Guixiang: Chinese Government Must Make Contribution to Environmental Protection

China is one of the world’s largest economy countries. Though it has done some work in environmental protection, the overall result is still lagging behind. It has been decades since China’s economic reform and opening up to the outside world. Nevertheless, with the development of economy, output value and efficiency, China fails to pay attention to the environmental protection. The mistakes in making environmental protection policies, the ineffectiveness in the development of environmental protection measures, all lead to the deterioration of environment in many areas in China.
The Chinese government has been realized the seriousness of this problem-the gradually deterioration of environment. But in terms of the investment in environmental protection, and the legislation and law enforcement in it, Chinese government is still lack of effective approaches.
Chinese government must take the responsibility in environmental protection as an economy giant, setting a feasible goal in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating global warming.
Actively involved in international cooperation of environmental protection work, Chinese government has to make efforts to protect environment along with countries all over the world.
