Hu,Kehui:The Chinese government should prevent corruption from its system
胡克辉(Hu,Kehui)
The problem of corruption in China is familiar to the public, and many people have a deep understanding of this phenomenon. The reason of this serious official corruption problem is that the authority of autocratic central government is not restrict to the law, besides, it is also not under the supervision of public. The authority without constraints and supervision must leads to corruption. In today’s Chinese society, corruption has become very prominent; the power in the hand of autocratic officials can be above the law and the interest of ordinary people. The root reason of this phenomenon is one-party dictatorship.
China’s Constitution contains provisions relating to people’s supervision to government. Actually, this is impossible. Without human rights and freedom, without power, how can they take the role of supervision? They are even not allowed to participate in politics and talk about it freely. The terms of the Constitution of the Chinese Communist government is just like words on the paper, never can be real. The purpose of this is to deceive the public, responding to the demand of punishing official corruption from the public.
Today’s Chinese central government not only makes the laws by itself but also implements by itself, without any separation of legislative and administrative. This is unreasonable. It is normal to be corruptive with such a government. In order to inhibit corruption, the government has to learn western-style democracy system, establishing a complete set of anti-corruption legal system, separating legislative, executive and judicial systems, preventing the corruption from root.
