Chen,Yanfang: Achieving Democracy and Freedom is the Hope for China

When the Chinese communist government persecutes the people, suppresses the democracy, deprivates human rights of people, it will set a fabricated accusation first. The government will say like these, it is a riot with plans and organizations; or it is a counter-revolutionary action which is against China Communist Party, Chinese government and socialism. Everything is similar to these.
There are many examples in history. For instance, Anti-rightist Movement in 1957; the Cultural Revolution in 1966; Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, suppression of the China Democracy Party in 1998 and so on. All these are the Chinese Communist government starts some movements and manufacture events, making excuses to arrest and persecute dissidents.
He who has a mind to beat his dog will easily find his stick. So no matter how rational and justice, you will still be given the name of reactionary, becoming the person that the government wants. Many innocent people are arrested and put in jail. That also means the autocratic government is not subject to any law, government officials can do things without impunity. Therefore, only does China get freedom, human rights and the rule of law can the country has hope, people has hope.
