China’s political reform is related to the country’s future and destiny, and the ultimate goal of political reform is to reform the social system. The practical experiences in democratic countries tell us that democratic system is completely suitable for the Chinese society. Then, what kind of process will China experience? When will China be able to achieve the democratic system? These are the questions Chinese people care the most. Many Chinese people are lack of the concept of democracy and freedom; part of the Chinese people even hold the idea that political reform has nothing to do with them, showing a indifferently attitude.
Though Chinese people are greatly influenced by the autocratic culture, they still know the autocratic culture ad democratic culture gradually through internet and media. Only democracy can guarantee people’s human rights and freedom. So, people begin to have the concept of pursuing democracy and freedom, asking the government to implement democratic political reform.
The democratic system is conducive for improving people’s livelihood and the prosperity of the country, and is good for the national unity and social stability. The primary task of China’s political reform is to solve the problem of Chinese Communist government’s dictatorship, allowing the existence of oppositive parties, encouraging them to participate in China’s ruling party election. China’s only hope is to implement the multi-party ruling democratic system.
