文明(Wen,Ming)

For many years, the Chinese government is heavily focusing on developing its economy and ignoring the environmental protection. Many places are suffering from deforestation, desertification, flooding, and large scale of land erosion. Some regions in China have shown strange climate as a result of ecosystem disruption; Beautiful homes have been destroyed by nature disasters, like floods and landslides. These negative environmental impacts are the results of Chinese government lack of environmental awareness.

Natural resources and the environment are the foundation of humanity, governments around the world all agree with the concept. However, the Chinese government was overly focusing on its economic development and completely ignored the consequences of disrupting the ecosystem. Couple of decades later, China is paying for what it has done to the environment. Flooding, dust bowls and land erosion are the warnings from the environment.

Protecting the environment and keeping the balance of the ecosystem are not only the duties of the government, but also the duties of all the people. Chinese government must pay more attention to environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources. Only by doing so, the world can be a better place for all of us to live.
