The corruption problem in China is very serious. It is very harmful to the country and to its people. The Chinese Communist Government is conscious of the danger of corruption. But why they just let it be like that? Actually, the Chinese Communist Government has its own reason of anti-corruption. The reason of the corruption problem in China is because the system in China is flawed. The Chinese Communist autocracy is the root reason of the corruption problem. Before anti-corruption you have to anti-authoritarian, and anti-authoritarian is just like anti-Chinese Communist Party. Therefore, the Chinese Communist government can always find some objective reasons for corruption. For instance, corruption is the inevitable product of the reform; corruption is bound to the economic development, trying to fool Chinese people.

The thing that Chinese people concern the most is the integrity of government officials. They don’t want to see official corruption. However, this is just a dream. Corruption has already injured Chinese people a lot; many people have lost their faith on the Chinese Communist Party. Though the Chinese Communist Party takes some actions against corruption, it is still not controlled due to the problem of its system. It has been proved that the anti-corruption of the Chinese Communist Party is just tokenism. The true anti-corruption can only be achieved in the system of democracy and freedom.
