Xie, Feng: It is Government’s Responsibility to Pay Attention to Environmental Protection
In the process of fully pushing forward China’s economic construction, because of the rapidly industry development, the backwardness of technology, lack of scientific production method and management style, industrial waste gas and waste water are discharged directly. And the quantity of solid waste, emissions and waste stock is on the rise all the time during the process of industrial production. The environment is deteriorating, and some areas have become very serious. The environmental pollution which is centered by the city is enlarging, and expands to the countryside. The destructive areas of ecological environment are expanding too. And the main problems are usually soil erosion, and desertification, grassland degradation, forest crisis, and water shortages. The environmental pollution problem becomes more and more serious, the air is polluted and the water is polluted too. All these endanger Chinese people’s lives and their health.
The Chinese government proposes to establish a beautiful, prosperous and harmonious society. But on the environmental issues, it does not play a role as a big economy country, does not take responsibility of protecting environment. We call the Chinese government to pay more attention on the work of environmental protection, achieving the fairness and justice in it. The government should develop appropriate and practical environmental protection laws, strengthen advocation, and enhance the public awareness of environmental protection, promoting the development of environmental protection.
In order to reduce and effectively manage the pollution, protect the nature and environment, maintain the ecological balance, the government needs to make contributions to protect the environment.
