Li,Lanfang: China must Stop the “One Child” Family Planning Policy

Thirty years ago, in order to control the birth rate, the Chinese government developed a family planning policy and the theme is one child policy. After implementing for decades, though the population number is controlled, many problems come out. This one child policy brings many negative effects to the Chinese society. During the implementation process, many phenomena come, like forced abortion and ligation. Influenced by the concept of boys is more valuable than girls, many baby girls are cruelty killed before they are born.
The Chinese government totally ignores people’s will, uses shocking brutal violent means, and tramples Chinese women’s basic human rights. Government officials at all levels also use the one child family planning policy as a tool to collect money. This one child policy in China seriously violate human rights, creating countless tragedies involving billions women of Childbearing age and thousands families. This disaster breaks the nature law of human reproduction. It is wrong no matter from which side.
Over the years, the United Nations Commission on Human Rights and international human rights organizations ask the Chinese government give up the one child policy gradually base on the topic of human rights. Chinese people want the government to stop the implementation of one child family planning policy; they need humanity, freedom and human rights.
