Liu, Ying: Request Chinese Government to Stop Implementing Birth Control Policy

The implement and administration of China’s birth control policy gas brought endless pain to numerous families in China. It has lasting harm and lead China to a road of destruction.
First of all, the implement and administration of birth control policy ask for large amount of funds. These funds will be put on the shoulders of tax payers. Because the implement and administration of birth control policy are related to all aspects of people’s daily life. It’s a forceful intervention on people’s basic interests.
Second, after many years of implement and administration of birth control policy, the population structure in China has completely lost balance. The structure is gradually getting worse. The population is going opposite way. The aging population is expanding faster than expected.
Third, the birth control policy forcefully control the number of new born population, which leads to a discrimination over genders between male and female babies. The imbalance of genders leads to the instability in the society.
Forth, there are violence in the implement and administration of birth control policy. Ways of forced abortion, induction of labor and ligation bring severe harm to large numbers of women. The implement and administration of birth control policy is a form of crime. It’s murdering people and trampling human rights.
Therefore, the birth control policy has ruined the image of China and its people. We strongly request Chinese government to immediately stop implementing and abolish birth control policy.
