There are many problems in China’s education system. The government sets too many educational administration institutions and educational administrators; the procedures are very cumbersome; there is no effective supervision on education officials; the government puts excessive administrative interventions on education; the allocation of the limited education funding is unfair. All these add a lot of difficulties to the implementation of compulsory education.
Many ordinary people, though having a hard life, still want their children get the best education. In their heart, no matter how hard the life is, they insist to let their children accept a good education.
There is a feature in the Chinese social system, which is people pay more attention on “rule of man” than “rule of law”, it is also the same in education area. Education is very important to a country’s development. We urge the Chinese government to be strict with education legislation, making sure that education laws, regulations, ordinances and education policy share the same direction, letting the education work( policy, institution, funds, facilities, management and so on) has the law to base on. The country would develop vigorously if the education official corruption phenomenon could be cleared off, and the education could develop normally.
