Wu, Jihuan: Ask the Chinese Government to Improve Ethnic Korean’s Basic Human Rights
吴基焕(Wu,Jihuan)
At the president, the concentrated residential area for ethnic Korean in Northeast part of China, its economy has a recession, and the social contradictions are quite prominent and continue to be worse. Especially the Youth of Ethnic Korean, in order to have a better life, they go to the economically developed areas, which leads to the problems such as the age gap of residential population, the imbalance of gender structure and other related problems. All these have become the destabilizing factors in that area.
We call the Chinese government to improve ethic Korean people’s basic human rights, take strong measures, develop the economy in that area, creating a living environment with prosperity, stability and harmony. The government should relax employment restrictions for the ethic Korean people, increase the investment funds on infrastructure, and gradually improve the education condition.
Meanwhile, we hope that Chinese government would not discriminate ethic Korean, respect their life style, protect the language and words, develop the economy, letting ethic Korean has rights of normal work, life, education, and free speeches, taking practical actions to improve ethnic Korean’s basic human rights.
