Zhu, Xueqin: The Serious Environmental Pollution in China is Government’s responsibility

The environmental pollution problem in China becomes more and more serious, which is also a fact recognized by all the countries in the world. Air pollution, water pollution, natural environment pollution have already spread from part to whole. Analyzing from the source of pollution, fertilizers, pesticides are largely used in agriculture, and herbicides are abused; the public sewage discharge directly into rivers and lakes without treatment; and the waste water, waste gas and solid waste from industries are basically discharged directly into the nature environment.
The serious environmental problem in China is not caused in few months, and also not accumulated in few years; it is caused because the government never pays attention to the environmental protection. The environment is seriously polluted; this has direct relationship with government’s environmental policy. The Chinese government has strict laws about environmental protection, but never serious implemented. Using a famous saying that is “only thunder, the rain never come.”
Environmental protection is a common goal and interest for people around the world, the United Nations environmental organization and the international society call the Chinese government to pay attention to environmental protection, promote the scientific concept of environmental protection, improve the public awareness of it, increase the capital investment, strengthen law enforcement, and make contribution to environmental protection.
