1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre has already passed 22 years. However, over the 22 years, since the Chinese Communist government tries to block and cover this event, many Chinese, especially the young generation, they never heard the words, like 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, Tiananmen Event, 1989 democratic movement, not even mentioning knowing the truth of 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre. Though part of the people knows a little bit about the event, the information is from media and publications under the control of Chinese Communist government, which can not represent the truth.
Over the 22 years, the comment of 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre which is made by media and publications under the control of Chinese Communist government is changing, from “political turmoil”, to “counter-revolutionary rebellion”, and then finally is known as “political storm”. These arguments are inseparable from Chinese Communist government’s deliberately cover up, and their suppression and defend of this event. Today, the Chinese Communist government still strictly control on all the speeches, audios and pictures about the event. Over the 22 years, students and civilians died in the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, instead of getting any apology and compensation, their families get intimidation and persecution.
In order to let more Chinese people get rid of the Chinese Communist government’s deceit and lies, and know the truth of 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, we call the Chinese Communist government open up freedom of speech, open the historical facts related to the event, like videos, audios, photos, text and so on, letting the public truly understand and know the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, letting the truth be known by the whole world.
