Zhang, Qing: Only Achieve an Elected Government, can Human Rights be Improved
张晴(Zhang,Qing)
Today’s Chinese government is an authoritarian government under the leadership of Chinese Communist government. The power of government and government officials are from Chinese Communist regime, not from people. For this reason, all levels of governments and government officials do not need to be responsible to the people. Their main goal is not to serve people, but to safeguard Chinese Communist regime’s interest.
Look at the government officials today; they are so indifferent at people’s sufferings. Whatever they think is how to plunder people’s interest, how to deprive people’s basic human rights, how to trade money and power; they are so corrupted and the only thing they know is money. As government, they do not punish these corrupted government officials, but help them to find excuse to get away from the law.
In this world, people all advocate that everybody is equal and should enjoy human rights. But the human rights in China cannot be guaranteed for a long term. The Chinese government has to take responsibility, must review the problems on human rights. We ask to achieve an elected government, call the government to seriously comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, truly improve the human rights situation in China.
