Cui, Guozhong: China’s Family Planning Policy is Disastrous

China’s family planning policy is not through the way of education to improve the people’s quality, but through the simple bloody and violent means, like forced abortion, induced labor, ligation and so on, to control the number of birth. In order to promote and achieve the family planning policy, the Chinese government introduces a variety of slogans. Among them, one is “If you want to be rich, then have less children and more pigs”, the content of the slogan is very vulgar, rude and low-level.
The Chinese government holds the idea that if you control the birth rate, then you can control the size of the population, the economy would develop, people’s quality would develop, and people’s living level would be improved. But after 30 years practice, the “one child” family planning policy hurt thousands and thousands people; Chinese people’s human rights are trampled. From today’s situation, people’s quality and living standards have not been improved greatly.
The family planning policy denies many basic human rights, like right of life, reproductive right. How can basic human rights are deprived, since they are the nature rights that people are born with them? The Chinese government has to respect all the lives, respect people’s reproductive right. The family planning policy is the product of a planned economic system, is the result of government’s large power. We strongly urge the Chinese government to terminate the “one child” family planning policy as soon as possible.
