Wang, Lianzhu: Achieving Rule of Law is a Condition to Guarantee China’s Moral Civilization
王连珠(Wang,Lianzhu)
The current Chinese society, moral degeneration has reached a hopeless situation and it leads to a society with insuperable contradiction. Today’s moral degeneration is the result of the Chinese Communist one-party tyranny. The long-term existence of the one-party authoritarian regime, the power is lack of supervision and restraint, the government and government officials do not comply with the law and morality civilization, they do whatever they want to do to suppress the civilian, this system itself is lowering the whole society’s moral standard.
No matter government officials or the public, many people cannot distinguish the good and the bad. The law has no restrain on the government officials, the media are lack of exposure right, the civilian has not right to supervise. Over the years, Chinese Communist government uses party culture to wash people’s minds, government officials lie all the time, many local people are not honest and cheat on each other. Since the government officials do not speak the truth, media make fake news, television broadcasting lie every day, the impression China gives to the public is that the society is prosperous, government officials are uncorrupted, people have a good life; actually we have to look at the problem from another view, the society is not stable, government officials are corrupted, people have a hard life.
The longer Chinese Communist Party’s dictatorship exists, the lower the society’s moral level would be. Only by ending up Chinese Communist Party’s dictatorship, achieving multi-party democratic political system, and implementing a separated power system of legislation, administration and judiciary, can the moral civilization in China be better fundamentally.
