陈碧秀(Chen,Bixiu)
In Chinese society, there are many government officials involved in corruption. Facing such serious corrupted problem, Chinese government’s anti-corruption is very strict, and the anti-corruption measures are very advanced. In various government meetings, official media all stress on the importance of anti-corruption work.
Over the years, the Chinese government has investigated thousands and thousands corrupted government officials. But how is the final outcome? Year after year, the corruption with Chinese characteristics has intensified and corrupted government officials actively participate in it. The more the government is against corruption, the worse the situation become, and the number of people who get involved in corruption become larger and larger.
Though the Chinese government has a strong determination to against corruption and the policy is very strict, more and more government officials get involved in corruption. Let us analyze the reasons of corruption. Facts have shown that the main reason is China’s one-party authoritarian system. This system makes government officials have absolute power, and absolute power will inevitably leads to absolute corruption. Therefore, ending up the one-party authoritarian system, achieving democracy, freedom and rule of law, these are conditions for the Chinese government to effectively punish corruption.
