23 years ago, on June 4 1989, the Chinese Communist government defies world opinion, openly mobilized the armed force, drove tanks on the streets of Beijing, and entered Tiananmen Square. They brutally suppressed students and civilians who demanded punishing corruption and implementing political reform. Some people died miserably under the gun, some people died under tanks.

Along with Chinese Communist government’s success in suppressing the June Fourth event, China began to walk toward moral bankruptcy; along with Chinese Communist government’s success in suppressing the June Fourth event, the power of Chinese Communist government became violent. Government officials’ power could not be restricted. Therefore, the Chinese government officials become more and more corrupted, pursuing wealth privatization. Then the so-called Chinese economic model came, there has been an unprecedented level of serious corruption. Facing corruption, the Chinese Communist government still does not seriously do self-examination, but let it become more and more serious.

At the time of 23rd anniversary of June Fourth event, we call the Chinese government do not forget the history of 1989 democratic movement, correctly evaluate the June Fourth event, implement democratic and political reform, punish government corruption, achieving democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law.
