Sun, Yongwei: Calling Chinese Government to Reveal the Truth of June 4th Event in 1989

It has been 23 years since the happening of June 4th event in 1989. But the truth still remains unknown by the public, those who were killed by tanks and military guns still haven’t gotten a just and fair evaluation; those survivors are still suffering on this land quietly, and their hearts are traumatized forever. Their biggest wish is to reveal the truth, punish the murders, and guard victims’ dignity.
At the eve of 23rd anniversary of commemorating 1989 democracy movement, the Chinese government blocks the internet, forbid the media to report any information about June 4th event in 1989. In China, people cannot see any words about this event, not even mentioning pictures. All of these prove Chinese government’s weakness and fear.
In the sake of respecting the history, revealing the truth of June 4th event in 1989, we hope that the Chinese government can take the responsibility of June 4th event in 1989, open the Internet, News, give people freedom of speeches. We are hoping that Chinese people will fight for justice and rightness, fight for democracy, human rights, and laws.
