The problem of corruption in China has never been interrupted nor solved, and the scandal of corruption has become to be a characteristic of China. Nowadays, the problem of corruption is more serious than any time before. China is one of the few countries which have serious problem of corruption, and at present, corrupt officials can be found everywhere, which of whom are crazy about money and power. It is astonishing how large the number of people gets involved in the corruption and the amount of money is.
Why the Chinese communist regime has such a serious problem of corruption? That is partly because of all kinds of social problems, but most importantly because of the social system. The corrupt dictatorial system is the most significant reason that caused the corruption spread nationwide.
The corrupt dictatorial system is becoming the protective umbrella of corrupt officials, once the communist party practice democracy and abandon despotism it will lose the privilege of a one-party dictatorship. And that’s the primary cause why the anti-corruption in China is ineffective. Similarly, if China does not practice democracy and does not severely punish corruption, China will have no future, and Chinese people will never live a life with fairness, justice and richness.
