Tian, Yongxue: Ask to Protect Chinese-Korean’s Freedom and Human Rights
田永学(Tian,Yongxue)
Koreans in China mainly reside in the northeast region of China, and they have their own spoken and written language as well as culture and custom. According to Chinese government’s ethnic classification, besides Han, all the other nations are classified as “minority”, which includes Korean.
For decades, Chinese government discriminates minority, and discriminates Chinese-Korean, and most of the officials in the Korean habitats are Han. These Han officials restrain Korean people from using their own spoken and written language, and compel Korean people using Chinese, or Korean students are not allowed to attend schools. Han officials in Chinese government deprive Korean people’s basic human rights as well as the right of using their own language and culture. We strongly protect Chinese government’s disrespect to Korean people’s human rights, and urge Chinese government abolishing the policies that constrain Korean people, protecting Korean people’s freedom and human rights.
