Xu, Xiuyong: We Ask for the Nationalization of Chinese Army
徐秀勇(Xu,Xiuyong)
China has been being a single-party state for more than 60 years, which leads a big gap between the rich and the poor, as well as the uneven economic development. The society is unfair and unjust, also with severe environment pollution. All the problems of the Chinese society, such as unemployment, education, medical care, food safety, demolition, and petitioning, are all directly relate to corruption, in order to protect their rights, many people stick together to rebel. Chinese communist government using army and police force to suppress in the name of “maintaining stability”.
An army’s task is protecting territorial integrity of the country as well as people’s safety, in democratic countries army would not participate in the fights and conflicts between parties or politicians. Army belongs to the country under democratic system, and the command of army belongs to elective government, and it should remain political neutral state.
Democratic country’s army belongs to the country, and the country belongs to the people. This is an important symbol to measure whether a country enter civilization. If there is an army belongs to the country and the people, the country and the people will own nothing. Today, the Chinese communist party refuses to nationalize the army, leaving no way out to the army and the soldiers. We ask for the nationalization of Chinese army, since it is the direction of its development.
