Xia, Weihua: China Must Stop Implementing Birth-control Policy

As a Chinese woman, I have a deep impression of Chinese government’s “one-child” policy. After the implementation of the birth control policy all kinds of bloody slogan emerged, such as “choose abortion, choose induction, but never choose parturition!” etc. As to the important measures of the implementation of the birth control policy, one is publicity and brainwashing, and the other is forcible abortion, induction, and ligation.
After the implementation of the birth control policy, Chinese women have no basic human rights, and their miserable situation cannot be heard anywhere, thus they could not protect themselves by law. Although some women victims using protest to express their grievance, it does nothing to the powerful government. “One-child” policy typically represents the “rule of man” of Chinese government.
Birth control policy is trampling Chinese women’s basic human rights, and the executors are offending women’s body, whom also unreasonably punish those who have more than one child. The fact shows that the birth control policy damages the natural balance of population, which is a policy that trampling human rights, so it must be abolished immediately.
