Ding, Fugui: In Memory of “June 4” Incident in 1989
丁富贵(Fugui Ding)
The “June 4” incident in 1989 has passed 23 years, while the Chinese government is still avoiding this thing, and it prevent the media from reporting “June 4” incident as well as blocking relevant information about it. The Chinese government’s purpose is to let the people forget “June 4” incident in 1989.
23 years ago, in the morning on June 4, 1989, the Chinese government using force equipped with tanks and machine guns to enter the Tiananmen Square, violently massacre the students and ordinary people who urge the government “punishing corruption”, which killed many protestors. This patriotic democratic movement ended by Chinese government’s forceful suppression.
Even though 23 years has passed, people do not forget “June 4” incident as well as the protestors. We urge the Chinese government face the history appropriately, restoring the truth of history. We hope the Chinese government to investigate the “June 4” incident, punishing those responsible persons, stop using violence, giving the country back to the people, and to prevent such incident like “June 4” from happening again.
