Zhang, Dexiang: Strongly Protest China Communist Party Threating CDP Member’s Relatives

Since the first day that China Democracy Party (CDP) established on June 25, 1998, CDP members started their long-term fight against the authoritarian of China Communist Party for China’s democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law. However, the CDP members, as well as their family members, have suffered suppression and persecution from CCP regime, so many CDP members have to bear big pressure in order to support their families.
Overseas CDP members oppose forcible persecution and trampling human rights; we urge China communist government to improve human rights situation in China, and to abandon autocracy, establishing a democratic political system. I personally joined China Democracy Party overseas, and openly published articles that relate to democracy, freedom and human rights; I have also participated in several rallies in front of Chinese embassy and Chinese consulate general.
Chinese government police went to my home in China to harass and threaten my family members for several times, they even threatened that I intended to subvert state power, once they found I come back to China, I will be arrested and suffer a heavy sentence. Herein, I strongly protest the Chinese government.
We CDP members will never surrender the threat from oppressive government, and we will insist on our belief in democracy and freedom. China Democracy Party is the hope of China’s multi-party democratic political system, only multi-party democratic constitutionalism is the way out for China＇s democratization process.
