Wang, Yuying: Urge Chinese Government to Face Up to “June 4” Incident in 1989
王玉英(Wang,Yuying)
As to “June 4”incident in 1989, Chinese government said Chinese army did not open fire on the incident and nobody died. Facts show that what the government says are lies. Many Chinese people saw armed force and tanks enter into Beijing urban area, and soldiers shot while marching by themselves; they also saw people getting shot to death. It was not an accident that the Chinese army shot people to suppress the “June 4”incident.
For 23 years, the Chinese government has not learn a lesson from the “June 4” incident that it connive at official’s corruption, and refuses to accept democracy and freedom, as well as trampling on human rights. Though the government bans of reporting the “June 4” incident, many Chinese people with consciousness do not forget it, nor those died for democracy and freedom. We commemorate the deceased in the “June 4” incident at the moment of the 23rd anniversary of the incident.
Chinese people would confront difficulties and shed blood when pursuing democratic freedom and human rights, but they will never give up. Only democratic freedom, human rights and rule of law could save China, and to prevent the bloodshed incidents like the “June 4” from happen again.
