Wang, Yuying: Chinese People’s Human Rights Situation Must be improved
王玉英(Wang,Yuying)
Chinese people have no basic human rights, which show in several aspects: the buildings in the factories are removed to build commodity houses thus leads to workers lose jobs; farmlands are expropriated by the government so that farms lost security of their lives; children in poverty cannot afford to go to school, and many elders cannot afford to see a doctor. Chinese people complain about the government. Because there is no freedom of speech in China, people have no place to complain, hence their basic human rights under no protection.
Chinese government officials seize the power of state, of which they do not use it to serve the people, but to use the power to get involve in corruption, and to persecute the people. The government also arrest people who protest against the government or make petition to protect their rights by the name of maintaining stability. Some are persecuted to get hurt, to cripple and even to death.
For many years, there is no essential improvement to Chinese human rights situation, but getting worse. This is the consequence of the Chinese government’s long-time lying to the people. We hope to have a human rights dialogue between the government and the people, letting them communicate with each other, to truly improve the basic human rights situation of the Chinese people.
