Chinese people have got used to the problem of Chinese official corruption, that many consider that officials get involve in corruption is a common thing. In Chinese traditional culture, being an official means standing out among people, and also means getting rich. In Chinese history, among the officials in all dynasties, not a few of which were not corrupt.
It is a little excessive to say that all the officials in China are corrupt; however, the problem of corruption is the one that the Communist regime never resolved, and the fundamental source of corruption is that powers under no effective supervision. The current Chinese society only has the Communist Party as the rule party, government power is too concentrative and without other parties’ supervision, which runs out of control because of its inflation, and then comes power-for-money deal. Over time, emerge a large number of cases that officials get involve in corruption.
In order to gain the real steady and development in Chinese society, the problem of corruption in all forms must be eradicated; the first thing to eradicate corruption is to exercise rule of law, practicing legal supervision; meanwhile, grant the supervision power to people. Secondly, open the freedom to associate in China, once there are two or more rule parties, which realizes mutual supervision, then none of them dare to abuse the power, and the government would become clean.
